Day 2 Arrive in Amman

At the airport in Jordan, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Amman & Jerash

Known as the "City of the Seven Hills," explore the many civilizations that once reigned in the glistening white capital city, Amman. Catch a breathtaking view from the top of the ancient Citadel and take a seat in the impressive Roman amphitheater. Jerash, the "Crossroads of Civilization," is remarkable for its unbroken chain of human occupation. Here, in the hills of Gilead, discover remains of Neolithic civilizations, as well as Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Omayyad.

Day 4 Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Kerak

Visit Mount Nebo, where Moses caught a glimpse of the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 34). On a clear day, you can see all the way across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea to the rooftops of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Continue to Madaba, the City of Mosaics, and visit the Church of St. George with its world-famous, sixth-century, mosaic floor map. Kerak is a city in Jordan known for its Crusader castle, the Kerak Castle, one of the largest in the region. It dominates the area and guards stories of legendary battles.

Day 5 Petra & Wadi Rum

Travel to the city of Petra. Its entrance passes through a long, narrow gorge known as the Siq and is only accessed by carriage, horseback, or on foot. Once inside the city, marvel at the intricate detail. This city was cut from the cliff sides of rose-colored rock!

Day 6 Wadi Rum

Stunning in its natural beauty, Wadi Rum epitomizes the romance of the desert, with its "moonscape" valleys and towers of sandstone mountains. Wadi Rum is also home to several Bedouin tribes who live in scattered camps throughout the area.

Day 7 Bethany & Dead Sea free time

Continue to Bethany, where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11). Inside the modern-day Church of St. Lazarus, mosaics date back to the Byzantine church that originally stood here. Stop at the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. Soak in the mineral-laden waters of the Dead Sea and let the journey's memories wash over you!
