We use hotels that have 4-stars or similar. Each room will have a private bath, TV, and phone. Most rooms will have a hair dryer. Most hotels will not provide washcloths, while some may do so only upon request. Therefore, we recommend packing your own.

• Your deluxe cabin is individually air-conditioned and offers a large panorama window for your viewing pleasure from the comfort of your cabin.

• The top deck offers great viewing as you sail.  
• Typically, a least one meal or sometimes afternoon tea is served on the top deck.

Dress code

• Casual onboard and smart casual at dinner.  Swimsuits and sun hats are for the top deck only.  Comfortable walking shoes are essential for shore excursions.

Tips/Gratuities

• Your standard tips and gratuities have been pre-paid for those serving you on board.  However, should your ask for extra services (such as room service), it is customary to tip accordingly.

Love Offering

• Your Cruise Tour Guide will give you a wealth of information as you visit  the various sites.  The suggested guide  love offering amount is $6 per person/per day.  $3 per person per day for Driver (when applicable).  $2 per person/per day for  a tour escort (when applicable).

Miscellaneous Cruise Information

• Most sailing is done during the day, but some sailing my be required after dark.
• Don't miss going through the locks near Esna.
• When moored, several cruise boats may be linked together alongside each other, requiring guests to cross through several boats to reach shore.
• Let your guide know if you need access to a bank or ATM machine.  These will be best for a good exchange rate.  **Remember, the US Dollar is readily accepted in Egypt and ATM machines will only give you the local currency.
• Calling home from your Nile cruise vessel is possible.  Make sure you verify what the charges will be before making that call!
• Be careful of roaming charges if you are using your own cell phone.
