Day 1 Depart USA
Depart USA for your international flight to Tel Aviv, Israel.
Day 2 Arrive in Munich
You will be welcomed at the Munich airport by our representative and transferred to your hotel to enjoy dinner before retiring for the night. (D)
Day 3 Innsbruck
The capital of Austria’s Tyrol region, Innsbruck is famous as the site of two winter Olympics. Follow your guide on your half-day, morning tour through the quaint medieval streets of Old Town to the sparkling Golden Roof. The glittering sloping roof has been an opulent landmark since the 15th-century. You’ll view Maria Theresa’s Imperial Palace, Triumphal Arch and visit the Hofkirche. Plus, you’ll have time to explore the medieval city on your own. (B,D)
Day 4 Salzburg
Enjoy a full day musical adventure as you explore the city of Mozart’s birth, Salzburg. You’ll visit the Cathedral and famous Horse Fountain. You’ll view Hellbrunn Castle, Mirabell Palace and -- from across the river -- see Leopoldskron Palace, which is famous as the film location for “The Sound of Music”. (B,D)
Day 5 Castle and Churches Day
Today is a full day of photographic wonders. You will visit the beautiful Abbey of Ettal and the picture-perfect Church in the Meadow at Wies. You will tour the magnificent Castle of Linderhof, Mad King Ludwig’s main residence. This small royal residence is a delightful fantasy home for any crazy king or up-and-coming mogul. (B,D)
Day 6 Oberammergau Passion Play
After the Black Plague that was rampant in Europe left their small village, the grateful people of Oberammergau promised God that they would show their gratitude by putting on a Passion Play. Over 380 years later you will get to enjoy this one-of-a-kind, six hour musical and dramatic performance. You will have reserved seats, a guided tour of the town and motorcoach transfers to and from the play’s theater. Dinner is included in Oberammergau tonight. (B,D)
Day 7 Fly to Tel Aviv
Depart Munich and arrive in Tel Aviv where you will be met by our local representatives. Continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 8 Sea of Galilee day
Travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee. Visit the synagogue which stands on the site where Jesus taught. With Bible in hand, cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, participate in a special onboard worship service. At Kibbutz Nof Ginnosar, you’ll learn about the “Ancient Boat”, a rare example of the kind of boat in which Jesus would have sailed. Travel to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached to the people (Matt. 5-7). At Tabgha, the traditional location for the calling of the disciples and the feeding of the 5,000, you’ll visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9:10-17). Visit the Chapel of the Primacy where three times Peter professed his devotion to the risen Christ (John 21). At the River Jordan, remember your baptism in the Yardenit Baptismal Site. (B,D)
Day 9 Nazareth, Megiddo, Caesarea
This morning journey to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Matthew 2: 23). Visit the Church of the Annunciation where the Virgin Mary learned she was with child. Look out over Tel Megiddo (Armageddon) to view one of the most important archaeological sites in Israel. This afternoon explore is Caesarea, a center of the early Christians where an angel visited Cornelius, the first Gentile believer (Acts 10), and where Paul was imprisoned for two years before appealing to Caesar. Day 10 Bethlehem and Jerusalem
In Bethlehem, visit the cave revered as Jesus’ birthplace and see the Church of the Nativity constructed over the site (Luke 2). Gaze out over Shepherds’ Field before returning to Jerusalem. Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane and envision the scenes of the night before Jesus’ crucifixion (Matt. 26:36 - 44). Continue to Mount Zion to visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Jesus was questioned the night of His betrayal (Matt. 26:57). Meditate on the events of the Last Supper as you visit the traditional location of the Upper Room (Mark 14: 12-26). (B,D)
Day 11 Qumran, Dead Sea, Jericho, Jerusalem
Travel to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947. Take a dip in the salt and mineral-laden waters of the Dead Sea. As you stop in Jericho to view the ruins of the city conquered by Joshua (Josh. 6: 1, 2, 20), in the distance you can also see the traditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matt. 4:1-11). End your day with a group picture taken from the Mount of Olives, where Jesus ascended into heaven (Acts 1: 9-12). (B,D)
Day 12 Jerusalem
Walk the Cardo, the ancient main street of the Old City. Explore ancient Jerusalem at the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall. View the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle (John 5: 1-31). Sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne and experience its rich acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1), and follow in Christ’s steps on the Via Dolorosa (“the Way of the Cross”). At the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, take time to reflect on His sacrificial love. (B,D)

July 25 – Tyrol to Venice
Depart your Tyrolean Village and begin your journey to Venice. Drive through the Brenner Pass and enjoy spectacular views of the Dolomites, a mountain range between Austria & Italy. Check in to your hotel in the Venice area for dinner and overnight.
July 26 – Venice
Enjoy a full-day tour of Venice. Rising between sea and sky this fascinating city boasts waterways and boats instead of roads and cars, encompassing 118 islands separated by more than 150 canals. Stand in the Piazza San Marco, bordered on three sides by palatial arcades in two tiers and faced on the other by the Basilica of St. Mark, one of the world’s most magnificent churches. Tour the Basilica with its treasure of marble and gold-background mosaics. From the square you can see the famous Bell Tower and the Clock Tower, as well as the charming pink and white Doge’s Palace. After seeing the romantic Bridge of Sighs, enjoy free time to explore on your own. You can shop, stroll along the bridges and canals or even indulge in a gondola ride along the Grand Canal. Dinner on own this evening or optional Venice island dinner (price to be announced).
July 27 – Verona & Lake Garda
Travel to Verona, home to Roman ruins and a courtyard that is reminiscent of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, whose story was set in Verona. Stop at Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake and enjoy the scenery before continuing on to Milan. Check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
July 28 – Milan
Explore Milan today, home to great Fashion houses such as Armani, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. This picturesque Italian city boasts the best of the old world and the new. Enjoy a city tour and a visit to the Teatrale alla Scala museum where you can learn about the history of Italian operas and see displays full of costumes and set pieces. This afternoon you may shop and explore on your own or take an optional tour to see Leonardo da Vinci’s "The Last Supper" mural (price to be announced). Return to your hotel in Milan for dinner and overnight. Dinner is on own this evening.
July 29 – Depart Milan & return to USA
