Visit the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is a historical archaeological site considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Travel to Pompey’s Pillar, the 4th century Roman triumphal column hewn from red Aswan granite. In the Montazah Gardens, Alexandria’s most beautiful green space, visit the Montaza Palace and Citadel of Qaitbay, one of the most important defensive strongholds in ancient Egypt.
