Daily Itinerary

Day 1 September 3 - New York, NY

5:00 PM Departure Depart from Tampa and arrive in New York. Toting almost 400 years of history, New York is one of the oldest cities in America. “The city that never sleeps,” “The Big Apple,” “The Capital of the World,” are but a few of the many nicknames given to describe this great city. As one of the largest natural ports in the world, New York Harbor cruises allow you to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, which welcomed arriving immigrants for centuries. Standing tall amid skyscrapers and modern cityscapes within this diverse city, you’ll find something of wonder no matter what your taste. From Times Square to Broadway, from Central Park to the Financial District, or from Ground Zero to the United Nations, New York captures the heart of the American Dream. Cultures from every corner of the planet can be found thriving within its five burrows. Choose to take in Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, or stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. Arrive in time at the port to board the Norwegian Escape for a week you’ll never forget!

Day 2 September 4 - At Sea aboard the Norwegian Escape

Whether you indulge in the ship’s many luxuries like the Mandara Spa and Salon, the Snow Room, the Sports Complex, the Arcade, or just relax on deck taking in the majestic views of the northeastern coastline, there is never a dull moment aboard this magnificent ship.

Day 3 September 5 - Portland, ME

9:00 AM Arrival / 6:00 PM Departure Portland is a city that is historic, quixotic, tinged with worldly Boston, but also tangibly “Down East.” Here, restaurants serve up luscious Maine lobster and the Portland Head Light sends out its brilliant, blinking beam. Nearby is the charming coastal village of Kennebunkport, a presidential summer retreat.

Day 4 September 6 - Bar Harbor, ME

8:00 AM Arrival / 5:00 PM Departure For much of the year, sunlight touches the United States first at Cadillac Mountain on the Maine Coast. From the granite-slabbed summit, light tiptoes down across the rest of Mount Desert Isle, Acadia National Park, the town of Bar Harbor, and then the rest of the country. The raw coastal scenery attracted Hudson River School painters in the 1840s, and their art, in turn, lured visitors to the area - a lot of them. Before you know it, Bar Harbor was a haven for the East Coast glittering class and was bejeweled with grand mansions and immaculate gardens. Cruise visitors can walk the streets of town, relax on the Village Green, or climb Cadillac Mountain. You’ll see that the grandeur abides.

Day 5 September 7 - Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada

8:00 AM Arrival / 4:00 PM Departure Although famous for the Reversing Rapids at the Bay of Fundy, Saint John is also home to splendid Victorian architecture, quaint shops, and a vibrant arts scene. It is also a gateway to New Brunswick’s scenic villages and seascapes.

Day 6 September 8 - Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

10:00 AM Arrival / 8:00 PM Departure Halifax was long defined by naval operations. The 18thcentury Citadel still stands guard, but today overlooks a thriving city whose restored waterfront features historic architecture, shops, museums, restaurants and more.

Day 7 September 9 - At Sea aboard the Norwegian Escape

Whether you indulge in the ship's fabulous entertainment venues, the non-stop culinary experiences, or the magnificent views from the deck, there is nothing but pleasure aboard this spectacular ship.

Day 8 September 10 - Disembark in New York, NY, USA

7:00 AM Arrival Arrive this morning at New York Harbor with memories that will last forever.
