Day 3 June 27th 

Volunteer work in Natanya and maybe some other non-biblical activity  Leket Israel All food gleaned, sorted, and packed by Leket volunteers is distributed to 200+ nonprofit partners throughout Israel. This rescued food is provided to Israelis in need regardless of age, background, and religion. The group will arrive at the company’s logistics center in Ra’anana to sort and package gathered food to be distributed to Israeli families and individuals in need. The activity can be booked at no extra cost at Sunday - Wednesday at 09:00 AM-12:00 PM / 12:45 PM-15:00 PM Thursdays 09:00 AM-12:00 PM Registration in advance is required.   Half day tour in Tel Aviv/Jaffa With no extra cost   Overnight in Natanya. 

Day 4 June 28th

We begin our tour at Caesarea Maritima, where Herod built his capital to honor Caesar Augustus, Peter baptized the first Gentile convert, and Paul awaited his trial in Rome. Ruins include an amphitheater, a hippodrome, and an aqueduct (at Caesarea Beach). In the evening, after a time of worship together, walk the shore of the Mediterranean, swim in the pool, and watch the sunset.     Overnight in Natanya. 

Day 5 June 29th

Sepphoris contains impressive ruins of a city that was expanded in the time of Jesus and is close to our next site, Nazareth, where we will visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s house. Then travel back to Nazareth Village to see re-creations of homes, a synagogue, and a carpenter’s shop.    Overnight at Tiberias 

Day 6 June 30th 

We will enjoy a nature trail along the Dan spring, a source of the Jordan River. At Dan, view a gate from the time of Abraham and the site of one of Jeroboam’s altar worship centers. At Caesarea Philippi, see another headwater of the Jordan where Peter confessed, “You are the Christ, the son of the living God!” Gamla, the “Masada of the North,” has a gorgeous nature reserve for birds of prey.    Overnight at Tiberias

Day 7 July 1st 

Canoeing We will leave for a canoe trip through the lovely corners of the Jordan River and the Eucalyptus trees that were planted at the beginning of the twentieth century by the first settlers. Duration of activity: approximately 1.5 hours. Suitable for ages: 2 years+. Price: $ 18 per person What to bring: change of clothing and shoes.    Tabga is the traditional location for feeding the 5000, and where Jesus told Peter, “feed my sheep”. At the Church of Beatitudes overlooking the traditional location of the Sermon on the Mount. At the fishing village Capernaum, we will see what is probably the house of Simon (Peter), and the foundation of the synagogue where Jesus preached. Day 8 July 2nd 

Kibbutz En Gedi, where David hid from Saul. It boasts one of the best botanical gardens in the world.   Cnaan- Self driving programs- Located in Kfar Adumim junction, the attraction offers Jeep tours of the Judean desert area, ranging from 1 hours up to 4 hours. The group is joined by a guide who will lead them in a trip through the magnificent desert views. Presentation of valid driver’s license is required. the attraction offers different types of tours at differing lengths and price ranges. One hour – $65; 1.5 Hour – $82; 2 Hours – $100; 3 Hours – $117; 4 Hours – $135. rates per person in 5 person vehicles.   Cnaan- Desert Raiders tours- Sitting or standing, enjoy a desert tour on an open 4 wheels vehicle. No driver license needed. the attraction offers different types of tours at differing lengths and price ranges. One hour – $40; 1.5 Hour – $60; 3 Hours (extreme tour) – $97; rates per person in a solo vehicle.   Guided jeep tours- Haela desert tours- Experience a 4X4 Jeep trip through the Judean desert and the lower Judean mountains in a tour with experienced guide and drivers. The tour offers multiple routes to be decided in advance, from casual rides to challenging tours. Rate per 5-seats Jeep - $235 (up to 2 hours).   Israel Extreme- Canyoneering (with optional Rappelling) through Og Wadi- Enjoy an exciting hike through the unique Judean desert views. Experience the life that is surprisingly flourishing in the hidden valleys in the desert, and learn about the way streams such as the Og make their way through the dry landscape in flash floods. Optional Rappelling down dry waterfall beds along the way. The hike is 3-5 hours long, at a rate of $840 for a 10-participant group. $70 Shabbat supplement. Cost for Headlamps and Gloves: a. Day 9 July 3rd 

Early morning, relax, swim in the Dead Sea. Visit En Gedi Nationa Park Masada Desert camel rides with traditional dinner   Overnight at Dead Sea   

Day 10 July 4th 

The Temple, City of David, and Hezekiah’s Tunnel  The Temple Mount and the Western (“Wailing”) Wall are revered in both Judaism and Islam. At the Davidson Center Archaeological museum we will tour sites visited by Jesus and the apostles. In the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, we will see remains of Hezekiah’s Wall and of the Roman Cardo (main street). At the “City of David” we will see an early water tower and structures from the time of David and Solomon and will walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel (or a dry, Canaanite tunnel) to the Pool of Siloam.     Overnight at Olive Tree Hotel, Jerusalem 

Day 11 July 5th 

Gethsemane.  After an early morning visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the traditional location of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus, visit St Anne Church and Ecco Homo and have free time in the old city.    Overnight at Olive Tree Hotel, Jerusalem
