Daily Itinerary

Day 1 February 28 - Depart USA

Your pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on an overnight flight.

Day 2 February 29- Arrive & Transfer to Bethlehem

You will be welcomed at the Tel Aviv airport by our representative and transferred to your hotel to enjoy dinner before retiring for the night.

Day 3 March 1 - Kings of Israel

Begin your touring in the Holy Land by visiting the Herodion, the fortified palace and final resting place of Herod the Great. In Bethlehem, gaze out over Shepherds Field and visit the cave revered as Jesus’ birthplace (Matt. 1: 18-25). Visit the Church of the Nativity, where the cave revered as Jesus’ birthplace resides in the world’s oldest functioning church (Matt. 1: 18-25). Overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 4 March 2 - The Wilderness Experience

Visit Kasr el Yehud, the traditional site of the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. Stop in Jericho, the oldest known inhabited city in the world. Visit the ruins of the ancient city, which was conquered by Joshua (Josh. 6: 1,2,20) and see parts of the ancient city walls which have been uncovered. From Jericho you can see the traditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matt.4: 1-11) and the Judean wilderness. Visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery, to discuss the mysterious community of Essenes who once lived on the shores of the Dead Sea. Stop briefly at the Shores of the Dead Sea for a quick dip in the salt and mineral laden waters. Overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 5 March 3 - Jesus Ministry in the Galilee

Explore the Church of the Fish and the Loaves at Tabgha, traditional site of the feeding of the 5,000 (Luke 9:10). On the Mount of Beatitudes, contemplate the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matt. 5-7). Visit Capernaum, center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee, and visit the synagogue built on the site where Jesus taught (Matt.4:13, 23). Cross the waters of the Sea of Galilee on a very special boat ride, complete with an onboard worship service. In Magdala, once home to Mary Magdalene, visit a recently discovered first-century synagogue. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6 March 4 - Jesus in Jerusalem

Visit Mt. Zion and stand in the Upper Room (John 13), near the traditional site of the Last Supper (Mark 14). Walk through some of the ancient rooms of Caiaphas' the High Priest's house beneath the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Here Jesus was held overnight before His crucifixion (Luke 22). Visit the Temple Mount, once the site of the Temple of Solomon. Take time to pray at the Western Wall. Sit on the Teaching Steps where Jesus once taught.

Day 7 March 5 - The Week that Shook the World

Stand atop the Mount of Olives as Jesus did and enjoy a remarkable view of the "Golden City" of Jerusalem. Forty days after his resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives (Acts 1: 9-12). Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26) among olive trees in the Kidron Valley across from the walls of Jerusalem. View the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle (John 5: 1-31). Sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne, known for its amazing acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23: 1-11). Walk the Via Dolorosa, “the Way of the Cross,” and stand in reverence at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Your final destination allows time for reflection at the Garden Tomb. Enjoy dinner tonight before transferring to the airport for your return flight.

Day 8 March 6 - Return Home

MARCH 5 - ARRIVE IN DUBAI
Today, you will transfer to the airport and fly to Dubai. Once there, you will transfer to your hotel.

MARCH 6 - OLD DUBAI
Journey to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood in Old Dubai, and see the traditional way of life from the mid-19th century until the 1970s. Discover art, museums and cafés housed in L-shaped homes, some topped with distinctive wind towers. You will visit the Textile Souk full of colorful fabrics. Continue to the Saruq Al Hadid museum to see the Dubai archaeological treasures. Embark by water taxi to Bur Dubai Abra Station - early settlers relied on its waters for their livelihood. Cross to Deira on traditional wooden boats (Abras). Visit the Gold Souk and Spice Souk, savoring the Jewelry and aromas. This afternoon, travel to the Lahbab desert outside the city. Head off the road into bright red dunes. During a break, you can make use of optional quad bikes. Take a camel ride and surf the dunes on a sandboard before you return to your hotel.

MARCH 7 - ABU DHABI
Embark to see the highlights of Abu Dhabi. Learn about the region’s rich history and culture. Visit the architecturally beautiful Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a symbol of contemporary Islam. The place blends the cultural diversity of Islamic art and contemporary design. Continue to Abu Dhabi Corniche and see the curve of its clean water harbor, pearl white sand beaches and beautiful promenade. Next, stop at Emirates Palace, a highly celebrated destination. Travel to the stunning five towers of Abu Dhabi, Etihad Towers, a combination of luxury and modern views. Then, on to Qasr Al Watan, the reflection of Emiratis and their leaders. Learn about the culture, architecture and history of the Emirates. from the original Arabian design to the present state.

MARCH 8 - NEW DUBAI
Visit the Burj Khalifa, which at 828 meters is currently the tallest building in the world, located next to the Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping centers with 1,200 shops. Visit the viewing platform at 452 meters above sea level. Ride the building’s express elevator to the 124th floor at a speed of 10 meters per second. From there, you can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of all of Dubai and its unique skyline. Enjoy free time at the impressive Dubai Mall afterward. Visit a local church in the Jebel Ali area south of Dubai and hear from a local Christian Church on what life is like in a predominately Muslim country.
