Daily Itinerary

Day 1 March 21 – Fly to Rome

Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel in the city center. After time to settle in and rest, enjoy a relaxed neighborhood orientation walk. You’ll pass iconic sites like the Pantheon and Piazza Navona while soaking in the feel of the Eternal City. The day ends with a welcome dinner and a brief spiritual reflection to begin the journey intentionally. (D)

Day 2 March 22 – Angelus

In the morning, travel to St. Peter’s Square for the Sunday Angelus, when the Pope appears from the Apostolic Palace to pray and bless the crowd. This brief but moving experience connects your group again with the universal Church. The rest of the day is left open for exploration, prayer, or rest. Some may wish to revisit favorite churches, shop, or walk through the Villa Borghese Gardens. Optional visits to Sant’Andrea al Quirinale or the Pantheon for Sunday liturgy are possible. (B, D)

Day 3 March 23 – Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica

Begin early with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums, where the highlights include the Gallery of Maps, the Raphael Rooms, and the Sistine Chapel. From there, enter St. Peter’s Basilica, where the group will celebrate Mass at a side altar (pending confirmation). Following Mass, your guide will lead a full tour of the basilica, including Michelangelo’s Pietà, Bernini’s Baldacchino, and the Tomb of St. Peter. Afternoon is open for climbing the dome, personal prayer, or visiting the grottoes. (B, D)

Day 4 March 24 – Return Home

Group transfer to the airport for the return flight home. Pilgrims return home filled with memories, insights, and deep spiritual refreshment from walking in the footsteps of the saints, apostles, and founders of the Jesuit order. (B)
