Housed in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, this iconic fresco remains one of the most celebrated works of art in the world. Following free time for lunch, depart for Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure to begin exploring this remarkable city. Today, discover the timeless beauty of Florence during a guided walking tour. Stroll through historic piazzas and narrow medieval streets as you admire many of the city’s architectural and artistic treasures, including the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. This afternoon, choir members will participate in rehearsal while the remainder of the group enjoys free time for personal exploration, shopping, or relaxation. This evening, gather for a special choir performance in an unforgettable setting. (B)

Travel into the heart of Tuscany today for a full-day excursion. Begin in Pisa, home to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, where you will view the magnificent Cathedral, Baptistery, and the iconic Leaning Tower. Continue to the charming walled city of Lucca, birthplace of famed composer Giacomo Puccini. During your walking tour, stroll through picturesque streets and elegant piazzas while viewing highlights such as the Casa Natale di Giacomo Puccini and Teatro del Giglio. Return to Florence this evening. (B,D)

Depart Florence and journey through the scenic Italian countryside to Assisi, the beloved hometown of St. Francis. This peaceful hilltop town is known for its medieval charm, spiritual significance, and breathtaking views of Umbria. Enjoy time to relax and explore the town at your own pace before choir members gather for rehearsal. This evening, experience another memorable choir performance together as a group. (B,D)

This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Assisi. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, which contains remarkable frescoes and the tomb of St. Francis himself, as well as the Basilica of St. Clare. Following your visit, continue south to the Eternal City of Rome. Enjoy a walking tour in the center Rome and explore the romance of Rome as you climb the graceful Spanish Steps and stop at the famous Trevi Fountain. Legend says those who toss a coin into the fountain will one day return to Rome to toss another into the waters of Trevi. Continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

History is woven through the streets and neighborhoods of Rome as in no other city. Explore the many wonders of ancient Rome as you visit the magnificent Colosseum and see the Circus Maximus.. From the most sacred hill of ancient Rome, Campidoglio, view the Forum. Complete your tour of ancient Rome with visits to the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. Later, experience the glory of Christian Rome today as you visit the Vatican, home to one of the greatest museums in the world. And, of course, tour St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s frescoes, now restored to their full, colorful glory. Enjoy a free afternoon in Rome to explore more of the Eternal City. Dinner is on own this evening. (B)
