Daily Itinerary

Day 1 November 9 - Depart Home & Arrive in Mexico

Your journey begins as you fly to Mexico City. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and bus driver, who will welcome you to Mexico. Transfer to your hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight. (D)

Day 2 November 10 – Cholula & Puebla

Departing from Mexico City, you’ll travel to Puebla, passing through scenic landscapes. First, visit the 16th-century San Gabriel Monastery in Cholula, followed by a panoramic tour of the city. Explore the baroque churches of Santa María Tonantzintla and San Francisco Acatepec. Afterward, continue to Puebla, where you’ll check into your hotel and have some free time to explore or relax. In the evening, enjoy a group dinner at the hotel featuring local culinary specialties. The rest of the evening is free to unwind. (B, D)

Day 3 November 11 - Ocotlán & Puebla

After breakfast, you will drive to Ocotlán to visit the pilgrimage church and to see the image of Our Lady of Ocotlán, who appeared to Juan Diego in 1541, and her image was burned into a nearby oak tree. Next, you will visit the Monastery of Santo Domingo to see the Rosary Chapel and the Puebla Cathedral dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. Enjoy a leisurely walk in the Parián Market before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 4 November 12 - Taxco

This morning, you will drive to Taxco, the mining capital of Mexico, known for its uniquely narrow, cobble-stoned streets. Celebrate Mass at a local church and enjoy more sightseeing. Afterward, check into your hotel here for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 5 November 13 - Taxco & Xochimilco

After breakfast, take a taxi to downtown Taxco (upper town). You will tour through the center of town and visit the Church of Santa Prisca. Enjoy time for shopping before boarding your bus to begin your drive to Xochimilco. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride, followed by lunch and a live Mariachi performance. Finish your day in Mexico City and check into your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 6 November 14 - Pyramids of Teotihuacán & the Shrine of Guadalupe

This morning, you will drive to Teotihuacán one of the best-preserved towns in all of Mexico. It was the most important city in North America around 500 AD, when its population was estimated to be 200,000 people. You will be amazed at the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Walk the mile-long Avenue of the Dead, framed by countless monuments and statues. In the afternoon, you will journey to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe to join pilgrims from all over the world in Mass, honoring our Lady. Return to your hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 7 November 15 - Return Home

Transfer to the Mexico City airport to take your flight back to the USA. (B)
