Day 1 Day 1 (Sunday) - Depart the USA
Your Fatima pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on your international flight.
Day 2 Day 2 (Monday) - Arrive in Lisbon / Santarém / Fatima
Your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your bus for the journey to Santarém. Here, the Church of St. Stephen was the site of a Holy Miracle in the 12th century. The crystal pyx can be seen at the renamed Church of the Holy Miracle. Continue to Fatima, where you will check into our hotel and then celebrate Mass in one of the chapels at the Sanctuary of Fatima complex. There is an opportunity to participate in the candlelight processional while in Fatima. (D)
Day 3 Day 3 (Tuesday) - Fatima
Today, you will visit the Basilica, where the three children (Lucia lived to adulthood) are interred. You will then journey to the countryside, where Mary appeared to Francisco and Jacinta Marto, and their cousin Lucia dos Santos from May 13, 1917, every month on the 13th for six months, when she appeared at Valinhos. You will see their homes nearby, where Francisco died in 1919. Jacinta died in a Lisbon hospital in 1920. Return to Fatima for time to pray and contemplate the meaning of the Holy Site. Dinner is on your own this evening in Fatima. (B)
Day 4 Day 4 (Wednesday) - Tomar / Coimbra / Fatima
Today, travel to Tomar and visit the Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ. Continue to the university city of Coimbra. Here, you will visit the Convent of Santa Clara-a-Nova, where St. Isabell is buried in the main chapel. Lucia lived here. Return to Fatima for dinner and overnight. (B, D)
Day 5 Day 5 (Thursday) - Return to the USA
Return to the USA or continue with an extension to Santiago de Compostela.

Day 5 (Thursday) - Porto to Ponte Vedra
This morning you will visit the Church of St Martin of Cedofeita and San Francisco Church, both visited by pilgrims on their Camino journey. You’ll head north to Braga, another stop on the Camino. Enjoy a walking tour of the town, including stops at the Castle of Braga tower and the Chapel of Coimbras. Finish the day in Ponte Vedra with a stop at the Church of the Pilgrim Virgin. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 (Friday) - To Santiago de Compostela
This morning you will travel to the Sanctuario da Escravitude, one of the churches along the Camino. Built on the site of the Fonte Santa (Holy Waters), the church was built by donations of those who visited to experience the healing waters. Those wanting to walk the last 16 kilometers (10 miles) to the cathedral can depart from the bus here and follow the Camino into Santiago to the Cathedral. The rest of the part will continue to Santiago for a walking tour of the cathedral grounds, and then participate in the Pilgrims Mass this afternoon. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 (Saturday) - Finisterre - Muros, Waterfall, Finisterre, Seafarer’s Church
Today journey by bus to the port of Muros, and then walk to the Ezaro Waterfall. Enjoy lunch on your own in Finisterre, before walking out to the lighthouse at "the end of the world". Finish your day on the "Coast of Death" at the Virxe da Barca Sanctuary that has survived a 2013 lightning strike and subsequent flooding from the Atlantic. Return to your hotel for overnight. Dinner is on your own this evening in Fatima.

Day 8 (Sunday) - Fly to Madrid
This morning, you will fly to Madrid and then enjoy a driving tour of the city. Finish the day at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 (Monday) - Return to the USA
Guests taking an extension may be on a different flight than their group and/or traveling companion.
