The adventure continues with a morning game drive and afternoon at leisure in Ngorongoro, followed by a full exploration of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater before heading to the Serengeti. Depart on your international flight to Tanzania.
Day 2 Sept. 21, DAY 2 | Arusha
Touch down in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport! EO representatives will greet you, and your guide will escort you to your hotel.* (D)
Day 3 Sept. 22, DAY 3 | Tarangire National Park
Today and tomorrow offer some amazing chances of catching Tanzania’s wildlife! During your afternoon game drive, stay on the lookout for gazelles, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, olive baboons, lions, and much more! Seeing God’s diverse creation within their natural habitat is nothing short of breathtaking. (B, L, D)
Day 4 Sept. 23, DAY 4 | Tarangire National Park

Day 6 Sept. 25, DAY 6 | Ngorongoro Crater
Explore a land transformed by an astonishing act of nature – the Ngorongoro Crater! Many believe an erupting volcano collapsed in on itself, creating this land, lush with diversity! The wildlife that calf here, the plants that thrive, and the birds that find rest during migration all contribute to this region’s UNESCO designation. Be on the lookout for black-spotted hyenas, warthogs, wildebeests, buffaloes, and more! Travel to the Serengeti National Park for your dinner and overnight tonight. (B, L, D)
Day 7 Sept. 26 DAY 7 | Serengeti National Park
Spend today soaking up one of the most vibrant wonders of the natural world – the Serengeti. You’ll have the whole day to explore this beautiful and teeming ecosystem. Perhaps you’ll feel the vibrations of wildebeest footfalls by the thousands! Maybe you’ll catch an elusive leopard on the prowl! Even the thunderstorms and saturated skies evoke awe. (B, L, D)
Day 8 Sept. 27, DAY 8 | Serengeti National Park to Arusha
Travel from the Serengeti back to Arusha. Enjoy your last night in Tanzania in Arusha as you prepare for your flight home. (B, L, D)
Day 9 Sept. 28, DAY 9 | Shopping and Return Home
Enjoy some time for tourist shopping in the area before returning back to the airport for your late night flight.* (B, L, D) *We recommend booking the flight from JFK that will arrive in the afternoon or evening of September 21.
